Long-Term Infrastructure Funding

On October 3, 2018, the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan announced the signing of an Integrated Bilateral Agreement under the Investing in Canada Plan to provide long-term infrastructure funding over the next decade.

Projects under this agreement will improve community health and safety, economic growth and sustainability, environmental protection  and quality of life through investments in:

• Northern, rural and remote roads and airports;
  
• Municipal and regional infrastructure;
  
• Greenhouse gas mitigation; and,
  
• Culture and recreation facilities.
