Long-Term Infrastructure Funding
On October 3rd, the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan announced the signing of an Integrated Bilateral Agreement under the Investing in Canada Plan to provide long-term infrastructure funding over the next decade.
Projects under this agreement will improve community health and safety, economic growth and sustainability, environmental protection and quality of life through investments in:
- Northern, rural and remote roads and airports;
- Municipal and regional infrastructure;
- Greenhouse gas mitigation; and,
- Culture and recreation facilities.
